"Love Don't Cost a Thing" is the lead single from Jennifer Lopez's 2nd album, J.Lo (2001).

Love Don't Cost a Thing peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100, besides being her 1st #1 in the UK. Its Spanish-language version, "Amor Se Paga con Amor" ("Love Is Paid with Love"), featured on the Latin American edition of J.Lo, was restricted to the U.S. Latin music charts. Jennifer Lopez performed Love Don't Cost a Thing song for the 1st time at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2000 in November 2000 in Stockholm, Sweden.




In the United States, "Love Don't Cost a Thing" debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 the week of December 9, 2000 at a lofty #46. Within 3 weeks, the single was on the top 20, and most notably rose from #10 to #4 the week of January 27, 2001, as airplay of the single maximized. Despite becoming the first of four #1 Hot 100 Airplay hits for Jennifer Lopez, "Love Don't Cost a Thing" peaked at #3 for two consecutive weeks, unable to break the stride of stronger singles from Shaggy and Joe.

In Asia, the song topped the MTV Asia Hitlist for 7 weeks, the longest stay at #1 for a Lopez single. Since its debut, airplay increased rapidly, but fellow Latin artists Ricky Martin and Christina Aguilera's duet "Nobody Wants to Be Lonely" prevented the song for staying at the top spot for 3 weeks, by gaining more airplay. Thus, Jennifer Lopez's single peaked at #2 for 3 weeks, before descending the top 20.

Demi Lovato - Camp Rock is a 2008 Disney Channel Original Movie, DCOM.

Demi Lovato, in 2008 played in Camp Rock (Channel Original Movie) as Mitchie Torres Disney. Mitchie Torres (Demi Lovato) is a girl who hopes to be a singer some day. Her dream is to go to Camp Rock, but her family cannot afford the pricey camp. The only way she could go was if her mother would be the cook, and she tries to hide that fact in fear of rejection.

Demi Lovato's film, Camp Rock is a 2008 Disney Channel Original Movie (DCOM) starring the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato. The music is written by Julie Brown, Paul Brown, Regina Hicks and Karen Gist. The movie is directed by Matthew Diamond and produced by Alan Sacks.

On January 25, 2008, during the commercials for Minutemen, it was announced that Camp Rock would debut June 20, 2008. Camp Rock was the second DCOM to air on ABC's The Wonderful World of Disney after its premiere on Disney Channel, and be available online after its premiere on Disney Channel. The film took in 8.9 million viewers on the night of its premiere, making it the second highest viewed DCOM behind High School Musical 2.

The story of nCamp Rock follows Mitchie Torres, an aspiring young musician who is hoping to become a professional singer. Mitchie wants to go to a music camp named "Camp Rock". Since the family can't afford the tuition, Mitchie's mother arranges to cater food for the camp, thus allowing Mitchie to attend. Mitchie tries to conceal this from her friends at camp.

Spoiled brat/pop star Shane Gray has been assigned to be in charge of dance classes for one month at Camp Rock by his bandmates Jason and Nate. Shane hears Mitchie singing and falls in love with the voice, but does not know the identity of the singer. Shane spends much of the movie searching for the girl with the voice. Shane and Mitchie have various interactions, and, when Shane learns her identity, a romance between the two blossoms.

Genelia D'souza

Genelia D'Souza (born on August 5, 1987) is an Indian film actress, model, and host. She has appeared in Telugu and Hindi language films, as well as Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada language films. D'Souza first hit the limelight in a Parker Pen commercial with Amitabh Bachchan.

She made her acting debut in the Hindi movie Tujhe Meri Kasam in 2003, which failed to propel her career in Bollywood, but soon achieved recognition in the Tamil film Boys the same year. She subsequently acted in many Telugu movies during the period from 2003 to 2005, which earned her recognition in the Telugu film industry.

D'Souza received her first Telugu Filmfare Award for Best Actress in 2006 for her performance in the romantic film, Bommarillu, which earned her critical acclaim. She made her Kannada debut in 2007 in Satya In Love.

She made a comeback to Bollywood in 2008, and was appreciated for her performance in Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na. In addition to movie acting, D'Souza has hosted the television show Big Switch, and is the brand ambassador of Fanta, Virgin Mobile India, Fastrack, LG Mobiles, Garnier Light, Margo, and Perk in India.

Born in Mumbai into a Mangalorean Catholic family, D'Souza was raised a Roman Catholic in the Bandra suburb of Mumbai. Her mother Jeanette D'Souza was formerly a secretary to managing director with a Pharma MNC, who left her job in 2004 to help Genelia with her career. Her father Neil D'Souza, is a senior official with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). She also has a younger brother, Nigel D'Souza. According to D'Souza, her name "Genelia", means "rare" or "unique", and is a portmanteau of Jeanette and Neil, her mother and father's name.
