2012 Pagani Huayra has a 1350 Kg dry weight

In the Veneto region of northern Italy lies the Adria International Raceway, and it hosted Pagani‘s engineers as they played around with their new toy. The Pagani Huayra measures 4605mm in length, 1169mm in height, 2036mm in width and has a 2796mm wheelbase, the official Pagani Huayra specs say it has a 1350 Kg dry weight with a 44% front 56% rear weight distribution.

The exact safety equipment used by the Pagani Huayra has not been revealed, but the company clearly states that it compiles with all the regulations imposed by both the European and the USA market. We guess that if you’re doing 370 km/h they’re pointless anyway. The exact pagany Huayra price list has not been announced, but early estimates put it around the 1 million Euro mark, we’ll have more details regarding the Pagani Huayra price and exact date when it will go on sale at a later time.

McLaren F1

McLaren F1 is the most powerful supercar produced by McLaren between the years 1994-1998, from the 100 cars: 65 are street versions, 5 are LMs (which was build to honor victory at Le Mans in 1995) and 3 are Gts (the road versions of the 1997 F1 GTR racing car) and 28 F1 GTR made for the roads.
The Chief Engineer Gordon Murroy`s concept refers to the use of expensive materials like: carbon, titanium, gold and for the first time, the use of carbon fiber monocoque chassis.

An SUV that shuts off the engine completely whenever possible in city driving thanks to a Stop/Start system. SUV that is ideal, versatile companion for life on the move with its excellent all-round characteristics, great practicality, 1,510 litres cargo space, up to 2,500 kg trailer load (with 4MOTION all-wheel drive) and many cleverly designed features. In Germany, the perfected Tiguan will arrive on the market in mid-June 2011; other European countries will follow at the beginning of August, and overseas markets at the end of August.

The front end design was completely reinterpreted. The Volkswagen Tiguan is still the only SUV in its class that can be ordered in two different versions: one for on-road use and one specially tuned for off-road driving. Visually, the two models differ in their front ends (“On-road” has an 18 degree angle of approach, “Off-road” 28 degrees).

Both models now show greater independence, better dynamic performance and more stylistic precision. In addition, like the on-road version, the off-road version is now also available with a top equipment line. In this case, the off-road specialist is known as the Track & Style (on-road: “Sport & Style”).

However, traditional V8 enthusiasts need not worry, as the story states that a full range of engines will be available, including the classic larger displacement units that have traditionally found a home in the Corvette.

Of course, the rumormill about exactly what’s in store for the C7 Corvette continues to swirl. We’ve heard everything from a mid-engine layout to a split rear window design that pays tribute to the 1963 ‘Vette. Whatever the case, GM just invested $131 million in the Bowling Green, Kentucky plant that builds the Corvette and the all-new model is expected to arrive within the next two to three years.

Lotus still has a lot of forward planning for the future map, despite a series of concepts presented at the Paris Motor Show. Five concept vehicles were revealed in 2010:the Elan, Elise, Elite, Esprit and Eterne. We’ve got an update on two of them. The Lotus Esprit should arrive by 2013. The Elan, however, has a murkier future. Forget 2013; it’s been speculated that we might not see it until 2016. Blame the Lotus Evora.

Lotus planned to shut down the Evora so that it could give way to the Elan. Now, Lotus management has decided that the Evora deserves a traditional model cycle. Should the Evora continue into a second generation, it puts the Elan’s existence into question. If a second-generation Evora isn’t developed, a next-generation car, then new Elan will arrive and fill in the open lineup spot.

For some people, there is no such thing as too much horsepower. The more the better, even if we’re talking about a compact sedan like the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG that leaves Stuttgart’s factory with a 6.2-liter V8 engine cranking out 457-horsepower and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft)of peak torque.

In the case of German tuning firm Kubatech, the answer to the C63 AMG’s horsepower problem was a Stage 3 performance kit that includes a new ECU from Mcchip-dkr along with a complete sports exhaust system from Cargraphic, which help bump output to 583HP and 692 Nm (510 lb-ft).

Corvette-based builds ranging from the bad-ass Rossi SixtySix and the Genadi LSR Roadster to the more recent Soleil Anadi. In other words, there’s a Corvette for every taste, however outlandish you can imagine.

The latest company to jump onto the Corvette coachbuilding bandwagon is Endora Cars, which is based in Germany. Their build is called the SC-1 and it’s styling is inspired by the American and European sports cars of the 1960s and early 1970s. the SC-1 blends certain elements of the Corvette such as the Coke-bottle profile and sweeping roof, with a sharp front nose and a unique rear end along with partially covered rear wheel arches.

Endora Cars said it will offer buyers the choice of three configurations. The basic model will be equipped with GM’s 6.2-liter V8 pushing out 437-ponies and 424 lb-ft of peak torque, while a second option will be a 7.0-liter V8 with 512HP and 470 lb-ft of torque. Sitting at the top of the range will be a supercharged version of the 6.2-liter V8 delivering 647-horsepower and 604 lb-ft of torque to the rear axle.

All engines will be mated to a six-speed-manual gearbox, while a 6-speed automatic transmission and paddleshifts will be optional on the entry-level V8 model.

The new generation of powertrains will soon have its another member out on the road, Skyactiv announced that the “Skyactiv-G 1.3” direct-injection gasoline engine will debut on the facelifted Demio (known as the Mazda2 in international markets) in Japan this summer.

The Mazda Demio will come with 1.3-liter engine features a record high compression ratio of 14.0:1 and delivers 84 horsepower at 5,400 rpm and 112 Nm (82.6 lb-ft) of peak torque at 4,000 rpm. In the Demio, it returns an impressive average fuel consumption of 3.33 lt/100 km (70.6 mpg), according to Japanese norms.

The low fuel consumption is also due to Mazda‘s new i-stop system and the continuously variable transmission (CVT), as the improved start/stop system alone contributes to an 8 percent drop in fuel consumption.

60 horsepower will be added by Oakley Design for the V12 engine‘s output and to trade the all-wheel-drive system for a more dramatic Diablo-reminiscent rear-wheel-drive setup.

Oakley Design estimates the removal of the front differential, drive shafts and associated front drivetrain parts will reduce kerb weight by around 85 kilograms. The tuners believe the Aventador’s advanced suspension design and very stiff full carbon monocoque should be able to handle 760 horsepower with just rear-wheel-drive. Nonetheless, to improve grip, the rear wheels will be wider. The company is also working on developing several suspension upgrade alternatives with Intrax.
